| Loch Trool im Galloway Forest Park |
Mein erster Wochenendausflug fuehrte mich nach Newton Stewart, ca. 1 Stunde mit dem Bus von Port Logan entfernt. Newton Stewart ist ein typisches kleines schottisches Staedtchen, nichts besonderes. Aber - es gibt ein Kino!!! Das habe ich natuerlich gleich am ersten Abend ausgenutzt ;-)
Das Wochenende verbrachte ich dann im Galloway Forest Park, einem grossen Waldgebiet mit vielen Seen, in dem man gut wandern und Radfahren kann. Ein sehr beliebtes Ausflugsziel der Schotten.
eng: On my first weekend-trip I went to Newton Stewart which is located about 1 hour by bus from Port Logan. Newton Stewart is a typical small Scottish town, nothing special. But - there is a cinema!!! So of course I had to go there on my first evening.
I finally spent the weekend in the Galloway Forest Park. It's a huge woodland with lots of lakes (Scottisch - loch) where you can hiking and cycling. It's one of the favourite destinations of the Scots.
